Senior Internal Communication & Employee Engagement Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll lead internal communications and employee engagement for our UK West Generation hub. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to embed a compelling narrative that supports transformation, change adoption, and a culture of inclusion and performance.

Welcome to UK Communications
You’ll be part of the UK Communications team where you will support the UK West Hub's transformation teams in the design and implementation of change management plans, training initiatives, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, organisational rediness efforts, resistance amangement, and change adoption strategies. Additionally, you will ensure effective integration with broader hub communications and change management strategies. Acting as an advocate for hub audiences, you will also recognise and promote achievements within the business. There is an expectation to travel to our office based in Barrow-in-Furness at least once month.

 You’ll play an important role in:

  • acting as the senior internal communications business partner to the UK West Generation leadership team.
  • working with various stakeholders to integrate transformation, change management and performance programmes into the overall internal communications culture and employee engagement transformational strategy
  • partnering with People & Culture to align on relevant employee programmes to support with onboarding, retention, talent and inclusion initiatives
  • working with local suppliers on employee engagement events and managing budgets
  • showcasing UK West achievements across the UK, Europe, and globally to build pride and visibility.

 To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience of implementing successful internal communication and engagement strategies, to support change management and transformation, embedding it through the employment culture
  • have experience of working on transformation and change management programmes including tools, frameworks and processes
  • possess extensive experience managing and building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the business, both influencing and engaging them
  • act as a trusted, professional business partner, advising on all aspects of employee engagement and internal communications.
