HR Advisor (focus on Labor Relations) (m/f/d)

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for managing employer relations, especially through close cooperation with works councils and finalizing works agreements. You will be overseeing the process and implementation of employee measures, ensuring they comply with legal requirements. Additionally, you will assist in the local implementation of global policies, and actively participate in change projects and organisational restructuring initiatives.

You’ll be part of People Infrastructure Germany where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver local HR Advisory to our German business. We’re responsible for setting and guiding the people related agenda for the different functions in close collaboration with business leaders and employee representatives. You’ll be reporting to the Head of People Infrastructure Germany.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • handling and managing employer relations, with a focus on cooperation with works councils, including the conclusion of works agreements
  • processing and implementing employee measures (such as collective bargaining grouping, transfers, dismissals etc.) in line with legal requirements and internal guidelines
  • providing immediate short-term guidance and advice to leaders with local relevant content on people processes and employment matters
  • supporting and guiding the local implementation of global policies, advising on any local law implications while ensuring compliance with local legislation
  • actively supporting change projects and organisational restructuring initiatives.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a degree in business administration or law with a focus on human resources or labor law, or a comparable qualification
  • possess in-depth knowledge of collective and individual labor law and experience in collaborating with works councils and negotiating works agreements
  • are able to ensure compliance of all HR practices within legislative requirements, established standards, and guidelines by building a broad knowledge base on regional approaches and connecting with global People & Culture colleagues
  • are able to analyze local situations, identify challenges, and provide impartial, timely solutions
  • possess English communication skills.
