Head of Global Social Media

Join us in this role where you’ll lead a dedicated global social media team who drives key agendas on all our owned social media platforms. You’ll work closely with Global Marketing, Global Media Relations, People & Culture, and regional colleagues across our organisation on key storylines to help shape and build our brand and support our mission to create a world that runs entirely on green energy.

Welcome to Global Stakeholder Relations
You’ll be part of Global External Communications team where you, together with your colleagues, will build narratives to promote some of the world's largest renewable energy projects across three continents. You’ll be part of the Global External Communications team, which is part of the Global Stakeholder Relations department, also including Marketing, Public Affairs, and Sustainability. You’ll lead a small and dedicated team of social media experts, drive our social media strategies, and implement a lean content operating model to include and align our global and regional effort.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading a dedicated and talented social media team, including our news flow pipeline and community management
  • developing strategies and defining KPI’s for social media on a global scale
  • shaping our external key agendas on key topics
  • defining clear processes and maintaining a strong proactive push on key narratives aligned with marketing campaigns
  • developing and driving senior management engagement plans
  • building proactive agendas to be pushed across markets.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are an inclusive, decisive, and empowering leader with proven expertise in stakeholder management and relationship building
  • are skilled in managing organisational change with a strategic understanding
  • are proficient in creating engaging social media and digital content in an international corporate context, especially tailored to a B2G audience
  • are experienced in integrating communications, marketing, and public affairs into a cohesive approach
  • have experience with a highly regulated industry and preferably with a political environment
  • have experience in handling corporate communication and social media across disciplines from a major international organisation, preferably a listed company.
