Join us in this role where you’ll lead the strategic direction for IT and digital procurement on a global scale. You’ll act as a functional leader and sparring partner of the IT&D Procurement team, ensuring alignment with business need while driving best-in-class procurement strategies.

You’ll be part of the Category Management department and will be the functional leader of the IT&D Category team of approx. ten people. The team members have a line manager in either the Sourcing or Contract Management team. You’ll play an important role in:
- working with senior decision makers to develop and maintain a global category strategy for IT and digital procurement
- managing a portfolio of IT and digital procurement projects, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal resource allocation.
- providing guidance and mentoring to colleagues in the IT&D category team
- connecting with other Category Leads across categories to coordinate initiatives and drive efficiencies
- building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to unlock commercial value
- monitoring market trends and technological advancements to keep procurement strategies up to date and value driven.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a cross-disciplinary background based on a master’s degree in IT, economics, business, or law with extensive experience in IT category management
- have a proven record of idea generation and developing optimization initiatives, such as optimizing software and infrastructure landscapes
- have proven track record of leading large and complex IT sourcing projects and high-stakes negotiations
- have the credibility and gravitas to engage and influence C-Suite executives
- are proficient in procurement of SAP and Microsoft suites and experienced navigating complex vendor ecosystems
- thrive in an international environment and can create good relationships with your team members, and stakeholders around the world.
