Gas Trader

Imagine a future where, as a gas desk team member, you will leverage your expertise in trading to drive success in a leading renewable energy company by working with gas contracts, assets, and proprietary positions.

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for trading our gas assets and contribute to the development and expansion of our gas portfolio. You’ll be working with many stakeholders across the organisation and will besides trading also guide and counsel the rest of the company in matters relating to gas.

Welcome to Gas Desk Team
You’ll be part of our dynamic European Trading Team where you, together with your colleagues, will engage in trading activities across European markets. The team focuses on strategic trading, risk management, and market analysis.

As a team, we value collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • building and executing trading strategies
  • executing gas trades to optimize portfolio value
  • participating in the development and management of our gas asset portfolio
  • taking on proprietary positions
  • developing analytical tools and performing ad hoc analyses to support team operations
  • managing important stakeholders both internally and externally
  • ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a strong commercial drive and are capable of working in a high performing team
  • possess strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • are solution oriented and thrive in an international environment
  • show initiative and are good at creating relationships with your stakeholders
  • have knowledge of derivatives and options (nice to have)
  • hold a relevant degree in fields such as economics, or have equivalent professional experience
  • preferably experienced in energy markets and/or trading (not mandatory).
