Ørsted named one of the ‘Best Companies to Work for’ at HR Asia Awards 2022
Global offshore wind leader Ørsted has been named one of the ‘Best Companies to Work For’ at the renowned HR Asia Awards 2022, for the second year in a row.

The award recognises Ørsted’s dedication to setting the highest standards for a supportive and inclusive working environment for its employees.  

The HR Asia ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia’ Awards covers 14 markets across the region. It honours companies across the Asia Pacific with outstanding HR practices, employee engagement and workplace cultures.

As part of the awards application, companies undergo a holistic assessment of their HR practices plus an innovative survey of employees using the Total Engagement Assessment Model. 

Based on this research, Ørsted scored 11% higher in overall categories in comparison to all industries, with the highest scores in “culture and ethics,” “team dynamic” and “behaviour & advocacy.“ Under the main category - Core, Self and Group, Ørsted performed 13% higher in average comparing to all sectors, demonstrating the endeavours to build a high-quality, diversity-inclusive, collaborative working environment has been highly acknowledged by employees. 

Moreover, Ørsted’s 2021 People Matter Survey showed nearly 90% of the employees said they identified with the corporate culture and feel highly loyal to the company, while 90% of employees agreed that Ørsted has earned its reputation by upholding its corporate values. 

Ørsted came to the Asia-Pacific region in 2016 and established a regional hub in Taiwan. Since then, Ørsted expanded its footprint with offices in Japan, South Korea and Vietnam and has grown to more than 230 employees across the region in 2022.
