With our end-to-end business model in developing, constructing, operating and owning offshore wind farms, we aim to ensure that we not only build green energy but also create value and benefits for people. Being awarded two HR Asia accolades underscores Ørsted's commitment to fostering a friendly work environment and enhancing the well-being of our employees. As one of the world's most sustainable energy companies, Ørsted is not only steadily progressing towards its goal of achieving carbon neutrality in corporate operations and energy production by 2025 but also aspires to set new standards in promoting biodiversity during offshore wind farm development.

This aims to further protect and restore the marine environment, furthering to achieve net-positive impact on biodiversity. As part of this effort, Ørsted is undertaking biodiversity initiatives in various markets, including the ReCoral project at the Greater Changhua 1 and 2a offshore wind farms in Taiwan.

Nine years after establishing its Asia Pacific headquarters in Taiwan, Ørsted now employs 230 people from 13 different nationalities, with nearly 90 % being locally hired. Building upon its already generous parental leave policy, which significantly exceeds the requirements of Taiwan's Labor Standards Act, Ørsted introduced 20 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all genders in 2023, setting a new benchmark within Taiwan's renewable energy sector. This initiative highlights Ørsted's continued efforts to support employees through every stage of their lives.
