Risk Analyst for liquidity risk and market surveillance

Welcome to Group Risk
You’ll be part of of the Credit, Liquidity & FinReg Risk team where you, together with your colleagues, will oversee liquidity risk and perform market surveillance tasks across Ørsted’s trading activities. The team consists of six specialists based in Warsaw, London and Gentofte, with expertise in financial risk, data analytics, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with traders, treasury, and first-line risk teams across markets.

As a team, we collaborate across markets and functions to strengthen financial risk oversight, share insights on liquidity and trading exposures, and support each other’s growth through data-driven learning and foster a supportive environment where continuous learning and development are encouraged.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • operating and maintaining market surveillance systems
  • performing calculations related to EMIR and MiFID regulations
  • supporting second-line oversight of Ørsted’s liquidity risk
  • challenging first-line teams on liquidity exposures and risk management
  • collaborating with traders, treasury, and operational stakeholders
  • contributing to the development of strong second-line risk management practices.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience working with trading and financial markets either from your studies or 1-2 years in a relevant job
  • have great data skills, including SQL, Python and PowerBI
  • are curious, self-driven, and eager to learn
  • thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with both daily monitoring tasks and development projects
  • bring a solution-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
