OT Network Engineer for Windfarm Networks

Welcome to OT Systems
You’ll be part of the OT Network team where you, together with your colleagues, will Develop, operate and maintain the OT Networks. You advocate proven strategies and technologies and govern the solutions and roadmaps for product technologies and infrastructure components. You will operate in an international environment and with production networks located in three different continents.
As a team, we are ambitious team focusing on network development, Cybersecurity and network management and we have a tight and comprehensive roadmap in front of us. We take pride in understanding our stakeholders and the environment we work in. We do detailed planning and preparation of our work with stakeholders for optimum change impact and availability of Network services.
You’ll play an important role in:
- maintaining, supporting and transforming existing networks into new infrastructure designed for high availability, security and easy maintenance
- ensuring that the right cybersecurity level is implemented in the network solutions on production sites, fulfilling both country-specific and corporate requirements and develop Operational procedures
- working with risk assessment, detailed work planning, centralized configuration and continuous improvement in a way similar to modern DevOps
- managing suppliers and other third-party partners including project management activities
- designing and implementing new OT network solutions and associated operational procedures to match compliance requirements such as NIS2.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have general network administration experience and understanding. You know how to design, plan and implement network designs, with specific knowledge on CISCO infrastructure and Palo alto firewalls
- preferably have experience from working in OT/Production environment, including design, implementation and maintenance of communication networks (LAN and WAN) like windfarms, solar, power plant, oil & gas industry or another factory OT environment
- preferably have a bachelor's, master's degree in electrical/software engineering, hold a Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification and knowledge of Palo Alto products
- speak and write English fluently, enabling you to operate efficiently in an international environment
- enjoy turning ideas into action and have a talent for explaining complex topics to others. You’re driven to deepen your understanding of people and systems, and you're would like to contribute to an international offshore wind environment.
