Senior Manager, Head of Blades, Structural and WTG Systems

Join us in this role where you’ll be acting as Senior Manager with focus delivering on-demand engineering services to our global fleet. You will lead a team of highly skilled Engineers delivering high quality engineering services to support a safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our offshore wind assets. As a Senior Manager you will play a critical role in shaping technical strategy, optimizing maintenance and performance, and driving continuous improvement across our engineering processes.

You’ll be part of engineering services team where you, together with your colleagues, will focus on leading the team and delivering on-demand engineering services, lifetime extension analysis and innovative products to our regions and asset owners. You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers and product owners, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our offshore wind assets. You will shape the technical strategy, optimize maintenance and performance, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in the WTG, Blades, and Structures space.

You’ll play an important role in:
- delivering on-demand engineering services to our Hubs and Sites
- managing day-to-day activities of the team, together with the technical Leads. By ensuring technical support and resources for major incidents, including root cause analysis and mitigation solutions
- supporting and driving innovation and contribute to operational excellence, including participating in the technical forums
- leading product management efforts to ensure that engineering solutions align with operational and owner needs
- overseeing the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions to enhance the safe performance and reliability of wind energy systems
- assisting hubs with new product and technology implementation
- facilitating industry collaboration and development of suppliers in collaboration with key parts of the value chain incl. collaboration with the OEMs.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a relevant educational background with experience in operational management, ideally within an engineering or utilities business
- posses extensive experience in the wind energy sector, with a focus on wind turbines, blades, and structures
- have proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams and subject matter experts
- will drive technical excellence and innovation, fostering continuous improvement and asset performance optimization
- have strong customer and stakeholder mindset. Hands-on leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- experience in product management and a strong understanding of the value chain dynamics
- are curios to explore new areas and improve existing methods
- can create excellent results through teamwork and develop good relationships with colleagues and internal/external stakeholders
- speak English fluently and have efficient communication and professional presentation skills.
