(Senior) Continuous Improvement Specialist (m/f/d)

You’ll be part of Continuous Improvement – CE team where you, together with your colleagues, will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement to help us realize our strategic ambitions. In this role, you’ll actively contribute to further developing and embedding our Operations Production System, facilitating improvement events and workshops, and coaching frontline staff in Lean methodologies. This is an exciting time to join Continental Europe Hub when we are going through a transformation as part of Generation 3.0.

As a team, we will drive the maturation of the continuous improvement culture across Continental Europe Generation.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving the business improvement plan as defined in collaboration with key stakeholders across the hub
  • embedding daily management practices while coaching leaders in implementing and sustaining leadership standard work
  • driving Rapid Improvement Events and other relevant improvement workshops and activities
  • implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kata) to drive a culture of operational excellence
  • providing training, coaching, and mentoring in a range of lean tools and techniques
  • engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for continuous improvement efforts ensuring knowledge transfer of lean tools and techniques to increase continuous improvement capabilities in the organisation.

To succeed in the role, you: 

  • demonstrate experience in delivering lean implementations, process improvements or continuous improvement interventions
  • have experience with coaching, LEAN methodologies, facilitation of Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Mapping and daily management is advantage
  • demonstrate expertise in facilitation, be “hands-on” in change management, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
  • possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills to address complex challenges
  • embrace improvement and innovation skills to optimise processes and create lasting impact
  • fluent in German and English (both verbal and written).

You can work from one of our offices in Germany: Hamburg and Norddeich. Please expect frequent travels to our Norddeich site.
