Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for managing our investments and joint venture (JV) partnerships at major offshore wind farms in the UK.
Welcome to Generation Europe
You’ll be part of the Commercial department in the UK West Hub where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for managing co-owners across our West Coast JVs, maximising the value of our wind farms. You’ll be the day-to-day representative of Ørsted towards our JV partners, collaborating with teams including finance, legal, engineering, and front-line operations, to deliver a wide range of JV services.

You’ll play an important role in:
- acting as the day-to-day representative of Ørsted towards our co-owners
- delivering all the services related to managing the JVs, including making strategic recommendations, preparation of material for Board and Steering Committee meetings, delivering budgets and coordinating delivery of commercial reports
- driving effective working dynamics and robust decision-making on JV Boards, with a strong focus on safety, commercial performance, and successful long-term relationships
- handling commercial issues arising in the partnerships, proposing strategic developments, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements (incl. financial and legal obligations), collaborating across operations to ensure optimal commercial performance with respect to budget and lifetime value
- leading negotiation of key commercial matters with internal and external stakeholders including new opportunities, partnerships and disputes
- collaborating across the Commercial team to optimise asset profitability (EBITDA and NPV), including with colleagues in Contract Management and OMA.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a strong passion for renewable energy, in particular offshore wind
- have a degree in a commercial, scientific or technical discipline, for example, economics, finance, law, engineering
- have commercial insight, negotiation experience, and an understanding of the levers for improving the financial performance of assets
- excel in relationship management, building and maintaining strong JV partnerships coupled with strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills for managing internal and external stakeholders across a wide breadth of activities
- have experience with commercial, contract, and/or project management
