Join us in this role where you’ll become Operations Manager in our Offshore Operations department in Esbjerg and offshore at offshore Windfarm Horns Rev 2.

Welcome to Offshore Operations
You'll be responsible for leading and ensuring the safety of a shift of wind turbine maintenance technicians maintaining our offshore wind turbines. The Operations Manager supports the Head of Operations in directing and managing the safe delivery and performance of operations and maintenance at the site. Supporting the site KPl's related to HSE, minor repairs and restarts. Corrective maintenance and execution of scheduled planned service, to consistently reduce yield and OPEX losses. This is done in cooperation with the site planner. Furthermore, the Operations Manager is responsible for OSS (Poseidon/HRB), including maintenance, equipment personal and safety.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • health, safety environment; Responsibility for all operational activities
  • be a visible leader enhancing and driving performance; Safety, yield and OPEX
  • safety improvements implemented on-site
  • performance management of Technician workforce
  • people and line management of Technician workforce; the Operations Manager is responsible for the development and management of Technicians reporting to them, including PDD and evaluation
  • collating, managing and implementing improvement initiatives
  • safety and maintenance of OSS (Poseidon/HRB) according to guidelines and legislation

To succeed in the role, you:

  • aptitude for working at heights and offshore
  • experience of working in health and safety critical environments
  • leadership and line management experience
  • electrical or mechanical engineering working experience in a relevant industry
  • IT and presentation skills
  • planning and reporting experience
  • experience of working in health and safety and critical environments
  • demonstrate ability to drive continuous improvement
  • strong communications skills and master a broad set of communication styles
  • perfect Danish skills and a good level of English skills

You are expected to do some travelling in relation to your work and you will need to pass a medical examination to be able to participate in GWO safety courses. You will join a rotation shift in summertime, onshore, offshore and home and a winter rotation onshore and home (shift rotation with another Operation Manager).
