You’ll be part of US IT Capability Area where together with your colleagues you will be accountable for the performance, growth, and job satisfaction for one or more groups of employees, the total number of people vary depending on the context, but usually a team of approximately 25-30 employees across the Americas Region. You’ll Play an Important role in:

  • people management/leadership for approximately 25-30 people and a varying number of external consultants
  • recruiting, hiring, developing employees in collaboration with Delivery Organizations
  • driving and ensuring job satisfaction, motivation and retention under the agreed People Leadership methodology
  • ongoing dialogue with and evaluation of the employees, eg. regular 1:1 with employees, dialogues with key stakeholders in the delivery organization and/or the Center of Excellence. Relevant roles could be Scrummaster, (IT) Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, Solution Manager, IT Architect, Product Manager
  • using stakeholders’ feedback to drive necessary improvements and adjustments to competencies, job satisfaction and performance
  • executing the annual people processes e.g. conducting employees’ People Review, Personal Development Dialogue (PDD), High-potential talent cycle, Salary Review, Follow-up PDD, Performance Rewards (Special Recognition Awards and Promotions), and People Matter (employee satisfaction survey). All will be done in close collaboration with the delivery organization 

To succeed in this role, you:

  • bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years of experience in coaching and mentoring Agile skills, the Scrum Framework, Scrum of Scrums leadership and working in SAFe
  • SAFe SASM, CSP, PSC or other advanced Agile certification required.
  • Have the ability to understand, execute, and coach the team and program levels of SAFe: e.g. RTE, Product Management, Architects etc.
  • have the ability to work directly with technical and product teams, as well as program and senior IT leadership
  • have experience in leading in a matrix organization in a larger enterprise, including complexity, influencing without direct authority and managing multiple stakeholders (remarkable networker and relationship-builder)

Please note that you’re expected to do some travelling in relation to your work, as you’ll visit our domestic locations incl. operating and under construction project sites, external partner offices and attend various industry related events.  You can expect to travel less than a quarter of the time
