Welcome to Architecture & Technology
You’ll be part of the AWS IT Product Line where you, together with your colleagues, will develop automated core products based on the cloud technology, including the full scope of cloud life cycle activities. You’ll work in a cross-functional, international, and agile team with enthusiastic people. You’ll play an important role in:

  • forming part of the IT Product Line leadership team and providing holistic leadership on the technical solutions in all aspects of our Cloud Acceleration Strategy and AWS products
  • being the professional architecture lead for all the allocated architects through experienced leadership
  • being accountable for the quality of current and future solutions (NFR, technical, financial, legal viability, security, compliance, and strategic and architectural fit)
  • ensuring alignment with business stakeholders so solutions meet the current and future business needs, incl. alignment on the risks on outstanding and technical debt and security risks
  • ensuring that the Architectural Runway is created, updated, aligned, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders
  • being responsible for the creation of a well-informed AWS adoption tactic and ensuring that the process is anchored within the team.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have extensive experience in leading infrastructure management architecture within the AWS cloud domain
  • have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, industry standards, trends, and best practices on public cloud infrastructure architecture
  • bring a full leadership toolbox, can deliver through others and mentor, and are an enthusiastic change agent who actively promotes the architecture disciplines and their role in the full perspective of running a modern, customer-centric IT organisation governed by agile principles
  • have the ability to suggest competitive and innovative technical decisions and deliver commitments
  • have a strategic mindset to lead the technological platforms and the capabilities to ensure stable and scalable solutions
  • have excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills and speak and write English fluently.
