Ørsted signs NTD 25 billion sustainability-linked revolving loan facility

As one of the world’s most sustainable energy companies, Ørsted today (30) signed a NTD 25 billion sustainability-linked revolving loan facility agreement for Ørsted’s offshore wind farms in Taiwan with a consortium of financial institutions, including nine state-owned banks.
Guaranteed by Ørsted A/S, the sustainability-linked revolving loan facility has attracted oversubscription from both domestic and foreign banks, notably including all of Taiwan's state-owned banks.

Ørsted and the financial institutions have aligned to include sustainable initiatives related to Ørsted’s business operations as key performance indicators to ensure that offshore wind projects are built and operated in harmony with nature.

Guaranteed by Ørsted A/S, the sustainability-linked revolving loan facility has attracted oversubscription from both domestic and foreign banks, notably including all of Taiwan's state-owned banks. Facilitated by Bank of Taiwan, CTBC Bank Co., Ltd., and BNP Paribas Taipei Branch, who will jointly act as Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners (MLABs). The sustainability-linked revolving loan facility was finalised with participation from the following 15 banks: 

State-owned Banks: Bank of Taiwan, Chang Hwa Commercial Bank, First Commercial Bank, Hua Nan Commercial Bank, Ltd., Land Bank of Taiwan, Mega International Commercial Bank Co.,Ltd., Taiwan Business Bank Ltd, Taiwan Cooperative Bank and The Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China.

Domestic Banks and Foreign Banks: CTBC Bank Co., Ltd., BNP Paribas Taipei Branch, DBS Bank (Taiwan) Ltd, E.Sun Commercial Bank, Ltd., JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Taipei Branch, and Taishin International Bank.
