Wind Turbine Technician

You’ll play an important role in:
driving a positive safety culture through your actions
performing troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical components
servicing and maintaining offshore wind turbines and plant equipment
accurately recording all elements of your daily working on software systems
proactively maintaining your competence level and safety certification.
To succeed in the role, you:
have a full apprenticeship in a relevant discipline, such as electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably, with further qualifications, such as BTEC or HNC
meet the physical and medical requirements for working offshore
have an aptitude for working at heights and in restricted or confined spaces, working in an offshore environment, accommodated on a vessel for extended periods of time
are a team player with a calm and controlled approach to problem-solving
are well-experienced in troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical components and adept in using your own initiative to complete tasks.

Please note the role will based at our Gunfleet Sands offshore windfarm in Brightlingsea, Essex.
It will be a shift-based rota and operating daily from the site office. There will be a requirement to attend training sessions and courses that will incur some travel and time away from home.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend an interview at our Gunfleet Sands office in Brightlingsea. It will also be possible to do virtual interviews, if deemed appropriate. There will be a second-stage interview process followed by appointment.
