Financial Analyst for Settlement of Renewable Wind Power

Join us in this role where you’ll be ensuring high-quality settlement, accounting, and reporting for multiple European wind farms.

Welcome to Global Contract Settlements
You’ll be part of the Offshore team where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver timely settlement, accounting, and financial reporting for our European offshore wind farms. The Offshore team consist of six colleagues based in Poland and Denmark. The overall Global Contract Settlements department is situated in Poland, Denmark, Ireland, and England and takes care of both onshore wind, solar farms, biofueled power plants, biomethane, and natural gas contracts as well as the offshore wind farms. As a team, we create a workplace culture centred around teamwork and development through close collaboration with our colleagues and key stakeholders.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • collecting accurate data related to volumes and prices for the settlement of offshore wind farms
  • managing invoicing for monthly settlements and recording settlements in SAP mainly using our upload tools, but also by manual booking
  • providing exemplary audit documentation as part of our annual audit process
  • championing process improvement, especially in relation to month-end closing, and engaging in various ad hoc projects.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, controlling, or similar
  • are a highly competent user of the Microsoft Office suite, incl. Excel and Outlook
  • have experience with financial accounting software, preferably SAP
  • are self-driven and can work independently while also enjoying collaborating with colleagues across teams and national borders
  • are fluent in both spoken and written English.
