Senior Change Owner

Join us in this role where you’ll become part of a dedicated team developing and implementing automated scalable solutions for the settlement processes and for the many power purchase agreements, structured contracts, subsidies, and green certificates that are the main revenue drivers of our many windfarms and other green assets. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand the contracts in order to implement the required revenue calculations and reporting in our settlement engine in close collaboration with the IT developers in our team.

Welcome to Global Revenue Services
You’ll be part of the Global Contract Solutions team where you, together with your colleagues, will support the teams within the organisation managing the monthly settlement of energy contracts by taking in new contracts or tasks and developing processes for handling them. You’ll be cooperating with numerous global stakeholders from various departments to understand the business requirements to design and implement effective processes and solutions. You’ll work in one of three small scrum teams consisting of finance and IT people, with colleagues located across Poland, Denmark and Malaysia. As a team, we actively work on a team culture where we support and take care of each other and where questions are always welcomed and encouraged. Learning new skills is a part of the job and curiosity is a must.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • defining and designing effective processes for settlement and accrual of Energy Contracts with focus on the end-to-end value stream and meeting the needs of numerous stakeholders
  • driving the development and implementation of automated settlement solutions to provide consistent, reliable, and transparent financial data
  • building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders to understand the needs and interests across the organisation and how we can contribute towards meeting these
  • being the business anchor who understands the energy calculations and financial postings needed, communicating these to our IT colleagues, and testing the solutions when they are ready.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a bachelor’s degree in a business or finance subject and have a good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial controls
  • have experience with stakeholder management, a drive to challenging the existing to improve processes, and can create results, cooperating across departments in a large organisation
  • have good communication skills and thrive in cooperating closely with colleagues in different locations and with different cultures
  • have strong analytical skills and a proactive and systematic approach to your tasks
  • preferably have experience working with European or US energy markets.
