This will be done through written responses to regulatory and policy consultations and actively engaging with industry, regulatory, and government partners.
Welcome to Commercial Development
You’ll be part of Commercial Development where you, together with your colleagues, will report to the Senior Commercial Director and be part of the Commercial team, handling all commercial activities for the onshore business in Ireland and the UK, from growth through acquisitions to corporate contracting and trading our onshore portfolio.
You’ll play an important role in:
maintaining thorough knowledge of the Single Electricity Market and monitoring regulatory requirements as they relate to Ørsted’s role as a licensed supplier and market participant
managing and participating in various filing and interventions with regulators, governments, and industry stakeholders to support our fleet of wind farms operating across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and our pipeline of projects.
To succeed in the role, you:
have a third level degree with numerical, analytical, or financial content, incl. economics, finance, law, or engineering
possess expert domain knowledge of the energy industry and understand the challenges facing the renewables industry
have in-depth understanding of and extensive experience with the regulatory and policy environment in Ireland and Northern Ireland
have excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills to engage with and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
